CAL Financial was founded in 2016 by insurance agent Chad Levis, a seasoned insurance professional who has helped clients with their insurance needs since 1997.  Prior to CAL Financial, Chad worked as a captive insurance agent for two top-notch Fortune 150 insurance carriers.

Chad was attracted to the insurance and financial industry as he is very passionate about helping people.  Always looking for the “win-win,” Chad looks to ensure his clients are properly educated on insurance matters, adequately protected with great coverage, and always pay a fair price.  Most all of his recommendations are with the golden rule in mind: advise clients and potential clients on insurance matters as if he were faced with a similar situation.

Beyond insurance coverage, the relationships Chad has established over the years are by far the most rewarding part of the business, be it with individuals, business decision-makers, or peers in the industry. 

When not helping his clients with their insurance needs, Chad enjoys playing racquetball, spending time with his family, and traveling.  Chad also volunteers time as a committee member of the US Open of Racquetball, the largest annual tournament in the sport.   

Chad Levis is a native of Mason City, Iowa, holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota, and has called Minneapolis home for over 20 years.  He is married, with one child.
